The stir-fried rice noodles were incredibly flavorful, with a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma) – the best I've had in Penang so far. The Bak Kut Teh (pork rib soup) had a rich, dark broth; those who like rich, dark broth will love it.

Disclaimer etc. I prefer ones that are boldly spiced or savory, or have complex flavors, and the like. Hehe... the average bak kut teh tastes a bit spicy and plain, I guess...

It was getting a bit late, so I decided to try ordering supper via Grab! I successfully ordered Bak Kut Teh and fried rice noodles. I have to commend Grab Food; they delivered very quickly and the food was piping hot.

The Bak Kut Teh is sweeter than the one you eat in East Malaysia. You can just try the soup without rice. This way you will have room for the most amazing dry fried rice noodles recommended by the boss.

The owner was kind, friendly, and very talkative. The Bak Kut Teh was generous with ingredients, and the herbal broth was exactly what I wanted. It was a wonderful meal, and I will definitely visit again.

Food is deliciously herbal. Herbal bkt, portion is also just nice. Yam rice is recommended! The owner here is very nice and friendly :) Must try if you are at Penang!
