No ethical business. Serves outdated pork with a bad smell. The soup is also ice cold. (See picture) Service is very bad. Not recommended. Don't go; it's a waste of money. Unethical business. I doubt locals would eat at this restaurant.

Random hunt for bak kut teh in Penang Island after it was listed as our national heritage food. It's a small family owned restaurant. Went there on weekday, passed 8pm, environment rather chilled.

Restaurant not crowded as other. Soup taste is good, but not the best. Service is ok, just not auto fill up the soup as other Bak Kut Teh restaurant. You have to ask few times only get the soup full up the pot.

It has a relatively mild flavor, not strong, but not bland either. Personally, I prefer stronger flavors.
