Green house Hokkien Mee , located at Burmah road, was regarded as one of the best Hokkien Mee by many Penangties. One of the specialty here is you can opt for many extra ingredients such as “ pai kuat “, roasted pork and many others, which makes the Hokkien Mee more yuummy.

A bit out of the way but it's worth the trip. There are quite a few different stalls but I went there specifically for the Hokkien Mee . Delicious prawn broth and plenty of optional toppings.

Prawn mee, listed in the Michelin Guide, is savory, salty, sweet, and slightly spicy. You can choose your toppings. I added pork belly and kale. The service is fast and friendly, and the place is quite comfortable.

Three stars because the Michelin Bib Gourmand dish slightly disappointed me. The prawn noodles were very average; the broth lacked prawn flavor. The only surprise was the half-eaten braised egg, which was very flavorful.

It's sweet and spicy, mildly spicy. The shrimp didn't seem fresh; they looked like dried shrimp that had been soaked. Many people online say it's delicious, but it's just okay.

The best bowl of noodles we had here! Loved the soup and the roasted pork too. It was great! There was no queue when we went and the food arrived in five minutes.

Enjoyed the hokkien mee and lor mee mixed together. First time eating this and I really liked it. It's a must-try in Penang. You can also add on ingredients.

I wasn't used to the taste of prawn noodles, and the noodles were a bit too soft. Overall, it wasn't to my liking, but I still had to try it when I was in Penang.

The soup and noodles tasted normal, and the shrimp were delicious. Also, my noodles were lukewarm, not scalding hot, which felt a bit odd.

The food is delicious, especially the fragrant shrimp noodles. There's also a shop next door that sells delicious egg tarts.
