This is a famous traditional Javanese noodle stall near an industrial area.Many factory workers nearby know about it. It gets really crowded during weekday lunch hours. The noodles are cheap (only RM6) and tasty!

Finally, have tried long renowned famous jln tengah jawa mee. 1st customer this Friday morning 8.15am. Only aunty alone, everything has prepared. Been off before for helping on her daughter's confinement period after delivered.

The stall has moved from the adjacent hawker center where it used to operate for a long time. The noodle still taste great, price is reasonable but the portion has somewhat shrunk a little.

Delicious mee jawa goreng. Hidden inside the kopitiam under the flat building. The kopitiam can be considered an old but still okay for meals. Parking place is available around this area.

Best Jawa Mee in Penang I would say, had it since decade ago, still good, just smaller portion due to inflation and cost control. Gonna eat in Penang!
