Taste nice. Less salty and sweet, not oily compared with sg bakkwa so it's more perfect for snacks (eaten directly), if eaten with bread or porridge will be to bland. Must come early very popular with local buyers.

Found this family-run business on Google by chance. The auntie owner was very lovely to let us have a taste of their signature bakkwa, and introduce us about the history and how they make the different varieties.

This might just be the best Bak Kua in Penang. The minced meat version has a subtle creamy flavour, which I suspect is the product of quality pork and lard. The edges have a slight crisp and soft centre.

I got up at 7 a.m. to buy sliced dried meat on the spot. I bought a little bit first, and after taking a bite on the way, I immediately turned back to buy some more.

Why is it so delicious? 😋 It leaves a lingering fragrance in your mouth after eating it. I always buy only three or four slices at a time, so I can't share it with my family! 😝 Can you let me know when I can buy more? 😂
