The food was slightly on the salty side today, but it remains one of my all-time favourites. The chicken was soft and juicy, while the wontons were of premium quality, made with real prawns.

This is a well established restaurant in Butterworth specialising in chicken. It is crowded during lunch time. They have both chicken rice and chicken noodles. The chicken is delicious. The chicken noodles is cooked in delicious broth.

There was a little bit of a wait when we arrived, but probably no longer than 5 minutes which I thought was reasonable for a small restaurant during the lunch rush.

The place is famous for its dry Keow Teow, which I find it reasonably good... not great, but good. I enjoyed the steam chicken more; it is nicely flavored, smooth and the meat comes out from the bone easily.

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid. I love the chilies they serve with the Koey Teow Soup and the shrimp wontons. The taste has remained the same after all these years!

There was a queue when I went for lunch. Limited dine in tables. The shop could add in a few more tables to accomodate more customers since MCO alrd over. Lady taking order was rude and didn't take our order properly.

The Koay Teow Thng is special as they added prawn in the broth. I tried the dry Koay Teow Mee and its delicious. Limited place to sit though and the lady boss can be slightly rude when there are too many people.

Food is nice and I like the dry koay teow than the soup koay teow soup. Chicken is tender and nice to eat. Wan tan is also nice because it has prawn inside. Unfortunately, waiting time is longer than average especially when lunch time.
