This is a story from a man who has never eaten roti kacang pool even once in his life. I happened to be staying for a day around Tanjung Tokong and I was looking for an interesting breakfast place in the nearby area.

most astonishing discovery in food court. shasukha was oozy spicy goodness, with aromatic mix of acid and heat. so as not to detract from prima donnas ie eggs and beans. pumpkin soup is likewise excellent.

Interesting local interpretation of foul medames served with bread. The ordering process was a bit confusing and prices were not very obvious to me. You basically write down your order on a paper slip, grab a number and let them know.

We tried the roti bakar kacang pool, roti goyang telur and kaya toast during our visit. All were good, but the kacang pool with roti bakar really stood out, very flavorful and filling.

Just try the alang-alang that is already in Tanjung Tokong. For me the food is just ordinary, maybe because I'm used to eating rotis in Kuale. Creme brulee is delicious.

Tried this place recently and honestly really satisfied. The price range is around RM20+, but the food was delicious and the portion size was just nice, not too small and not overly filling. Definitely worth it for the quality and taste.

I didn't think there was a kacang pool shop in Penang that was as delicious as this, even better than Johor. Worth every penny. Confirmed to repeat. Portions are big and really tasty! Try it guys, it won't hurt!

Its located at a public foodcourt, but tables near this shop is clean and well maintained. I ordered kacang pool and huevos rancheros for husband. The bread wasssss sooo delicious and crispy.

The best set of pool nuts. The sauce is delicious, savory. But you have to wait because only 1 staff is handling (maybe there are other staff who are on vacation due to the Raya period). Foodcourt area so expect the crowding.

Love the food n service! Had a nice experince having breakfast here! The owner is very nice n welcoming! Bread was soft n tasty! Quite a good amount of selections of food to choose from. Will come back for more next time!
