When it comes to Chinese cuisine (Cantonese dishes mostly), I always have a few restaurants in my mind, Hei Yeong Seng Restaurant , CRC Restaurant (in CRC Club) and Starview Restaurant. These few restaurants have been branded as the good-quality Chinese restaurants in Penang.

A pretty elegant Chinese restaurant that specialized more on steamboat. But they also have many Chinese dishes. Comfy seating and very friendly service. The food here are generally tasty and nice,not really stand up but good enough.

Rightfully 2.5/5 stars. Dined on day 2 of CNY 2026. Fish was undercooked, and they forgot that it was not served until we reminded them. Dessert jelly had weird taste. Food served slow at times. Table reserved ahead.

This is a very Chinese restaurant. Aside from the overly sweet pork ribs, the other dishes were quite delicious. I recommend ordering à la carte instead of set menus.

occasional excellence, in midst of conspicuous consumption. pai kuat was tasty, and unexpectedly delicate. ditto fish, which was cooked to perfect doneness.

It was incredibly delicious! The soup, spare ribs, shrimp noodles, abalone, and cendol were all amazing. I'll definitely come again!
