This is my second visit to Tofu Village (豆腐村) at Church Street (Lebuh Gereja). This restaurant specializes in Hakka cuisine (客家菜) such as yong tao fu (酿豆腐), which I enjoyed during my previous visit . Today, the menu has been revised slightly to include several new dishes.

My second time visit at Tofu Village. Restaurant in this two months. Really enjoyed the dishes here. So many choices and the dishes really really fantastic. Every dish that I ordered gave a surprise for my taste buds.

Interesting Hakka Restaurant to try. We had their signature 'Lui Cha' which is a sort of vegetable based rice with a grounded leafy paste. Most would not like it but it is a very common staple to the Hakka clan.

The Tofu Village was quite a find. Was taken here for dinner by a Penang local. The cod fish with garlic and chilli was fresh and fragrant. We also ordered the claypot chicken with fungus, and Hakka rice wine chicken.

I‘m lost for words. We came across this amazing Restaurant and had one of the best Food experiences of our whole lives. We tried many different traditional chinese dishes and everyone of them was a 10 out of 10.

We walked in for early dinner and were fortunate to be attended to a table rather quickly. A lot of tables were reserved. Our order didn't take too long to prepare, except the more complicated Lychee Prawn.

Very nice food. My 2nd time here. My dishes are all served in claypot. Though some dishes were too little the portion. There are lot of choices to choose from.
