The first CKT (Char Koay Teow) stall we tried upon disembarking from the ferry terminal. The current location is within a newly established food court area around the pork friendly section.

Visited this stall around 11am and was happy to find it not too crowded. The stall is run by a kind old uncle and aunty, which adds a homely, nostalgic feel to the experience.

The duck egg CKT (RM11) is flavorful and nice. Perhaps a little bit less wok hey. However, the cockles are big. Nowadays, very few stalls serve such a bgt cockle. Price is reasonable. Good for people who don't like a touristy place.

I loved the CKT here. 2 plump juicy prawns with hum. Got the right amount of spice. Good balance on being wet and yet with wok hei! Went on a Thu and didnt need to wait that long.

Really enjoyed this plate of Char Kway Teow... flavourful, nice tinge of spiciness. Prawns were fresh too. Most of the other stalls were not open though. Place is simple, not over crowded.

Add the blood clams (hum), super big and worth it. The duck egg is more fragrant than the chicken egg too so highly recommend. Kuay teow flavors not the best compared to the others I have tried.

Saw reviews that this is popular for locals as opposed to the touristy ones. I've ordered the large, extra spicy and it really hit the spot! Came with generous amount of crispy pork lard too.

Simply the best Char Koay Teow in Penang. Very delicious. Must try. Taste better than those overrated Michelin Starred Char Koay Teow.
