First time trying this old school snack. There's a queue but it moves fast. Prepare cash as they don't accept e wallet. The outside is crispy and the inside is airy with meat fillings. The price is RM1.

Looking at the queue, you get an idea of how famous this yam cake is. I have never seen this place without a Q as customers wait patiently for a new batch. They are freshly made and fried in front of you.

This needs no explanation. If one needs to choose a local delight to represent butterworth, this is it. I can’t find yam cake like this anyway else.
