One of the places to get a good and delicious prawn mee (Hokkien Mee) in Penang is Green House Prawn Mee Corner. There are 2 branches in Penang. The taste of the soup is packed with prawn aroma while it is slight spicy with savory and sweet touch.

A bit out of the way but it's worth the trip. There are quite a few different stalls but I went there specifically for the Hokkien Mee . Delicious prawn broth and plenty of optional toppings.

Green House Prawn Mee is a must-visit if you want to try one of Penang’s famous local noodle dishes. This spot is well known for its rich, flavorful prawn broth that tastes sweet, savory, and deeply satisfying.

We went to this very famous location on a food tour. We heard that usually there is a massive queue and I guess we were there pretty early in the morning so we didn’t have a queue at all. We tried the prawn noodles.

The prawn mee is amazing — so good that I’d actually go back for it. Savory, flavorful, and very affordable. As tourists, we were a bit confused at first about how ordering and seating worked.
