This is Loke Wooi Kee, one of Ipoh’s many traditional coffee shops, and one we’ve been told we shouldn’t miss out on when we’re in town. There are the usual suspects you would find at any kopitiam , from chicken rice to curry mee.

of course the most popular stall is the Ipoh horfun so definitely I gotta order. I do like it, broth is well balance with chicken & freshness of shrimp infused. Poached chicken not as smooth as my regular stall though but still OK.

A very old eatery in Ipoh. Quite a few varieties to choose from for example fruit rojak , Hainanese curry noodles, beef noodle. Hong Kong style chee Cheong fun and kei see hor fun. Don’t forget to try the Hor hee too.

Went there for few days in a row but closed, only able to try it today. They said every month they will close for 4 days in a row, other days will be open so dun believe in Google operating days and hours.

Superb Apam Balik which come in generous amount of fresh and crispy peanut (RM1.80/pc). The Rojak cracker is crispy, drizzle with Rojak sauce and topped with pounded groundnut (RM4.50/set in 2pcs).

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid! The food is amazing and so nostalgic and everything Ipoh. The uncles and aunties working here are the best. This kopitiam also has all my favourite foods in one place!!!!

Come here for breakfast for its famous kai si hor fun. Wah so nice leh better than those in Selangor. No smelly soup and the soup is fresh. Food served very fast although has lots of customers.

3 star Chicken hor fun. Clear tasty soup, fine noodles but the chicken meat didn't taste fresh! 4 stars fot the coffee Robust & creamy Sadly, 2 stars for the peanut pancake. It was just sugar too sweet and aloof boss with attitude.
