Back to Penang now, I was tempted to try out the original Lorong Seratus Tahun curry mee. Located at intersection between Lorong Seratus Tahun and Lebuh Nanning. people not familiar with this place will need to drive extra efforts to here. The coffee shop only sell curry mee.

Lorong Seratus Tahun Curry Mee (百年路咖喱面) is one of the long timers in the curry mee business. The stall is located at Khuan Pin Hotel (环滨旅社), right around the corner of Lorong Seratus Tahun and Lebuh Naning in George Town.

Nice Penang white curry mee, where one can add as much chilli sambal as you like, as the chilli sambal is placed at each table. Used to frequent this stall when during my frequent work trips to Penang. Haven’t been back since Covid.

The curry noodles had very simple and plain ingredients. Since I don't eat pig's blood, the owner added a lot of tofu puffs. The curry broth was very light and had a very faint coconut milk flavor.

Just for Curry Mee, this stall is overrated I would say. It has that Penang Curry Laksa look & taste, but not sure if it was just the day we went, it wasn't spicy and it tasted a bit Salty & extra sweet too. Which we didn't really like.

Couldn't agree more they gave a lot of ingredients. Taste wise, it's overrated and meh, not my taste of liking. Can get better curry mee at the other places. Will I come back again? No 🙂‍↔️

Guess what, the curry mee add on clams and it costs Rm14.50. Portion small and soup not nice. Over price. No more second times. Last time is nice, now it become worst.

This is what I had back in 1971 Not your typical white curry mee Soft pork blood, fragrant chili and silky thin broth Until today still the same broth same chili kick!! Do give them a try!!

It's kinda overrated 😕 it's just a regular curry mee like anywhere else. About the price, I guess its really pricey tho u hv added extra fish balls and kerang (2 bowls for RM 25).
