This Michelin-selected street food stall, located on the mainland side of Penang in Butterworth, has been serving its distinctive Chinese-style Mee Jawa since 1996.

Went to try this Mee Jawa because heard that it's good. Arrived about 530pm (they close at 6pm) and managed to get the Mee Jawa. Though I'm not a big fan of Mee Jawa, I have to say that, yes, it's really good. The sweetness is just nice.

Javanese Fried Noodles - The taste was okay, but the noodles were overcooked and the texture was unpleasant. Grass Fish - Terrible. Compared to the ones in Sentosa, Bukit Mertajam, this was completely inferior.

Really good taste of Jawa mee . Authentic taste. Add on crispy prawns crackers small Jawa mee cost RM7/plate.

Very tasty local noodle gravy with crispy cracker. Worth a try and mentioned on Michelin guide. Roadside stall so not much atmosphere
