We have two stalls mee goreng in 1 hour. First one is the Rasheed Mee Goreng beside the Pos office Jelutong or Pos burger which is well know for more than 30 years still counting. The portion are big and a lot of ‘cucuk’.

A plate of scrumptious Mee Goreng is prepared by Rasheed, who has more than 30 years of frying mee goreng with charcoal. The chef has never been stingy to throw in a lot of elements - taukua, squids and tofu to his plate of Mee Goreng.

Another legendary charcoal mee goreng stall hidden in Jelutong. This is one of those secret spots Penang locals would rather keep hidden from tourists. Rating: 4.0/5.0

A pretty decent mee goreng sotong in Jelutong road side stall next to post office. Price is very reasonable, small size being RM7 and big for Rm10. Noodle is full with wok hei though taste could be more balance and dryer.

The best fried noodles in Penang..it's a hidden gem that not many people know about and they don't need to know about it..it tastes very unique, not like other mamak noodles..once you have it, you'll definitely remember it.

My first impression was that portion is huge! It is big enough to be shared between two people. I can smell the sotong ... very satisfied!

It's said that it used to taste good, but now it looks good, but it has a very obvious burnt smell, and the rat fry has no flavor, it's like a lump of batter.
