I remembered that the char kway teow stall at Sin Guat Keong coffee shop at the junction of Kimberley Road and Cintra Road is always mentioned in any list of the top char kway teow in Penang.

I don't know if it's this particular shop, but there were so many people queuing up. The smell of cooking oil was so strong that I felt like I couldn't breathe.

Char Koay Teow in front of the shop tasted so bad that we couldn’t finish it. Flavour off, wok hey none. Hawkers outside of Penang can do better than what they served.
