Definitely one of the best chicken rices in Penang and my go to whenever I’m craving chicken rice … the mother and father were originally at Kheng Pin Kopitiam across the road and now the daughter mans this shop …

They used to sell their phenomenal chicken rice at Kheng Pin cafe, walks away from this spot. Now they standalone run their business here. Still teamed up the father and daughter, not too friendly service but they serve us fast.

The poached chicken rice is delicious, but it gets expensive if you add extra toppings. The price is a bit high. The chicken soup is incredibly flavorful and piping hot. The chili sauce with the chicken rice is also good.

The chicken was tender, but the chili and chicken broth were bland and watery. The rice was just average. Overall, I'd give it a 4 out of 10. Someone else said this is the best chicken rice in Penang, but I disagree. 🙅🏻‍♀️

I found this from reels, someone was reviewing the place. Gotta say the taste is just ok, nothing special. Ordered 2 thigh chicken meat, one for me and one for my dad.

This chicken rice place was the cheapest meal I've ever had (they're closed on Thursdays). Although there's no air conditioning, the atmosphere is very homey and welcoming.

The seller was a bit rude, and the food was Just so-so, not particularly tasty. The service was pretty fast when we arrived. It was a quiet time. The prices were moderate, not too expensive.

Is this the best I’ve had? Certainly not, but is this one of the better one. Yes. The chicken they used I believe is just normal non-kampung chicken. The meat is tender with slight pinkish which is just how I like it.
