I’ll admit, I’m not a huge noodle guy, I much prefer rice, but since I was on a tour to to eat Michelin Awarded restaurants in George Town, Penang , I felt like it was my duty to try the famous Tok Tok Mee Bamboo Noodles.

This local stall is definitely worth visiting! We really loved their signature wantan mee — the noodles had a nice chewy texture, and the dumplings were firm and packed with filling.

I came for the char siu, but it was too sweet for my taste. However, the wontons were absolutely delicious!! Please order them! The noodles were very thin and chewy, and they absorbed the sauce perfectly.

Tok Tok Bamboo Noodle serves up a decent bowl that is enjoyable without being overly impressive. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The noodles were pleasantly springy, and the char siew had a nice roasted aroma . Wonton taste ok , mild flavor not so strong.

Well-deserved spot in the Michelin Guide. We visited after lunch time, so there was no waiting line. Ordered the signature Tok Tok Noodles, both dry and soup.

Food - I ordered the signature soup, fried chicken wings, bbq pork bun, and egg tart. The soup was super underwhelming. Not very flavorful, borderline bad. The noodles looked and tasted like they were instant from a bag.

The restaurant is spacious and comfortably air-conditioned! They offer wonton noodles in small, medium, and large sizes, which is something Japanese ramen shops should take note of! They don't serve beer, though.

Have the vibe of a Chinese restaurant, Hong Kong style. The noodles is chewy and delicious. I didn't give it 5 star because its ice cappuccino is nothing to shout about, but it's my personal taste. Overall, it is worthwhile visiting.
