American friends recommended that I loved Woodlands when they discovered my vegetarian journey. Now you know how popular and memorable the restaurant is locally and with tourists. Woodlands is a pure vegetarian restaurant.

The food is actually quite good, but the service was terrible. We visited on April 12th at 6:00 PM when it wasn't even crowded, yet we were ignored by the staff for a long time. Eventually, a female staff member came to take our order.

Had the Thursday special of "special vadai" which was the 1st time we had vadai with urad dhal inside. Nice warm. The dhal gave it the crunchy texture. Went on Friday to have the rasam vadai which is vadai in soup. Vadai was nice.

The food here is great and is affordable. However, the staff aren’t that friendly and it was a bit chilly in there so you might want to wear an extra layer and I would recommend wearing trousers or joggers [DONT WEAR SHORTS].
