Fresh Dim Sum at Yong Pin Restaurant at Kimberly Street, Penang is one of a signature dim sum around the area. They have been operating more than 40 years and this current one is their latest upgraded outlet.

If you are planning for a dim sum meal in Penang, you have an option of going to the newly opened Yong Pin Restaurant 榕槟茶楼. The restaurant which first opened in the 80’s in Sungai Ujong has since shifted to nearby Kimberley Street.

The menu was extensive! This time we chose rice noodle rolls, shrimp rolls with tofu skin, fried wontons, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, siu mai, and steamed pork with preserved egg—all were delicious!

The alternative place to taste dimsum (breakfast) at penang (near kimberly street georgetown). The taste is ok. Alot of variant of dimsum. The atmosphere is nice too. Price still ok for the pocket.
