The chicken came, de-boned and looking very delicious garnished with long cuts of spring onions and some cut chilli.

I'm a foodie who travels and tries new things. This restaurant is famous for its "Bearded Chicken," and our group of five ordered a whole one that day. The chicken was quite good, the meat was decent, and the bean sprouts were okay.

It's been many years since I last ate here, but the taste is still just as delicious, and the portions are huge... The soup base is delicious and very sweet...

Had dinner here for a long time with family (more than 10 years on and off coming to this restaurant). Ordered Bearded Chicken, Bean Sprouts (Taugeh) and Kuey Teow Soup. This is a popular spot for Taugeh Chicken in Ipoh.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ A solid spot for classic Ipoh ayam taugeh if you’re in the Buntong area. The chicken is smooth and tender with a nice layer of jelly under the skin, served with light soy sauce and ginger — simple but done right.

The good side first. Bean sprouts and "bouncy" fish ball and the soya sauce is decent / above average in taste. Portion is bigger maybe they think the 2 person they see looks like a 3 person appetite.

One of the best chicken and taugeh I’ve eaten in Ipoh! The chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful, while the taugeh was amazingly fresh and crunchy. Everything tasted so good and exceeded my expectations. A must-try when visiting Ipoh. ☺️

Loved the tasty 胡须鸡, delicious, juicy & tender even on it own without the seasonings sauce. A pity their chili sauce isn’t the best but it’s definitely tasty to eat it on its own without chili sauce. Crunchy and tasty bean sprouts.

A local favorite in Ipoh. Come and try it! The bearded chicken is incredibly tender, the bean sprouts are plump and sweet, and we added chicken giblets. Don't miss their fish balls and pork balls either! 😋

There is hair in the rice. Staff not wearing hair cap and not friendly. Chicken not properly cook and the rice is not chicken rice. It’s normal white rice. So disappointing

Quite good service from the shop especially given how busy they are. And the food tastes good too. Can’t complain!
