One of the best Popiah in Ipoh. The father used to sell in a stall by the road along Jalan Keliling, Canning Garden. After his passing, the son inherited the legacy of selling this famous Canning Garden Popiah.

Most would go for the famous popiah here but frankly, having been eating from the father's bicycle times in the 80s, it's not the same anymore but it's still one of the best. Gone is the authentic sweet sauce and the slight smoky flavor.

So called famous popiah falls short. The crunchy bits makes it nice but flavour wise is just average. Waited about 40mins from 6.35pm.
