There are a lot of nasi kandar spots in George Town , Penang. We went to the oldest one— Hameediyah Restaurant —which has been in operation since 1907.

Hameediyah is one of the oldest, or I should say the oldest mamak in Penang.
One of the most origin Nasi Kandar in Penang that have been operating since 1907, which is now 107 years old in Penang.

Some fans of Hameediyah claimed that the flavors of the spices have tamed over the years but everyone would have to agree that Hameediyah is still one of the best places to enjoy a plate of authentic Penang Nasi Kandar.
