The poached chicken was nice. The Ipoh kway teow soup was even nicer. But, it was the humble beansprouts that left the deepest impression.

Awesome place. Well at first I don't know what to do, sit down or wait it's not so clear. Turns out you just sit and wait. English limited but doable, especially the grandma. Most patrons are chinese-speaking anyway.

What's totally scary is the hygiene! The raw chickens were dunked in the poaching water. The broth for the kuay teow was scooped up from this poaching water which was not even on a rolling boil! The chicken was not tasty at all.

Very nice old school boiled chicken shop. Old lady running the place. Taking orders, preparing and serving plus collecting payment. 2 helpers to do additional serving, and cleaning.

There was already a long queue before it even opened up for business on a late Saturday afternoon. The chicken meat was soft, juicy and the chicken feet were good.

Heard from my ipoh friend that its all about your luck to be able to patron at this restaurant. All i can say is, the chicken is freaking good. The skin is so thin yet flavorful. Chicken inside is tender but not too soft.

The restsurant is run by an elderly friendly couple. Have been eating here for about 30 years. You can get the best taugeh chicken here. We Ipoh folks can only eat peacefully here on Thursdays.

Had a pretty great experience here, the chicken and tauge is savory, the hor fun was delicious as well, the soup especially was sweet, the noodle has the "QQ" feeling to it and I had to call another bowl.

Decided to hunt for an off-the-beaten-path 'nga choy gai' restaurant in Ipoh. Our spread included chicken, hor fun, gizzard, chicken feet, taugeh, and two glasses of barley.

Overall, the food was average and a little on the salty side. The portions were average as well. The restaurant was quite crowded during the weekend, which suggests it's a popular spot.

Service is terrible. They purposely delayed ordering even you have already sat on a table. Maybe to get more crowd lining up. Food was so so and expensive. Portion is very small too. Highly not recommended. It’s not really hygienic too.

Chicken was very tender, soya sauce was very fragrant and delicious. Very juicy bean sprouts. Chicken feet was so soft and tender, very flavourful. Arrived early so the wait wasn’t long.
