Plenty of dishes to choose from with a wide selection of vegetables, meats, and side options. The price is fair and reasonable too – for two people we picked several dishes and the total came to RM18.

If you like chap fan aka economy rice this is must go place. Lots of variety, very reasonable price (as a Penang Lang) experience current Penang food prices I believe you will understand what I mean. Taste great.. surely will visit again

Update 2026 March: Classic economy rice. Local’s favourites at Jelutong area. Since 1952 and still taste great and wallet friendly must go place for your weekday lunch and dinner. 4 STARS.
