This is a well-known restaurant in Penang, offering a wide variety of dishes. The highlight is the bak kut teh (pork rib soup), which is especially delicious when paired with fried dough sticks. It goes perfectly with hot steamed rice.

Perhaps it's because I'm used to Singaporean-style pepper bak kut teh, but today I specifically came to Klang Bak Kut Teh and ordered both dry and soup bak kut teh, only to find that neither was to my liking.

We enjoyed Khoon Kang Bak Kut Teh. The broth was rich and flavourful. I liked that you can order by portion per person, which was perfect since our stomachs were already full from trying so much food in Penang.

This was my first time trying dry Bak Kut Teh, and the soup version was also good. Both had a strong medicinal flavor, and overall it was quite delicious. I recommend it.
