Stalwart Goh Thew Chik Hainan Chicken Rice is the last chicken rice spot standing on Chulia Street. My family and I have been to Goh Thew Chik Hainan Chicken Rice since I was a toddler.

This is the worst chicken rice I've ever had in my life. It was packed with tourists; no wonder it's a Michelin-recommended restaurant for avoiding bad food. Anyone who says it's good must have never eaten anything good before.

First arrived at 1pm which had a long queue, decided to walk around the area and returned at 2pm. When I returned around 2pm, the place had plenty of seats to offer and was quiet compared to lunch time.

The chicken was tasty and the rice was incredible — I could have eaten a second plate! But visiting as a tourist was a nerve-wracking experience. We arrived around 3 p.m.

This Hainanese chicken rice is delicious and has even won a Michelin award. They offer roasted chicken and white chicken options. I prefer the roasted chicken, so I also ordered some chicken liver and chicken gizzard. This set cost RM9.

Very good chicken rice . Rice was fragrant. Roasted chicken was tender and cooked just right. Really Michelin star awardee. Turn around of table quite fast.

I recommend ordering the double combo (half roasted chicken and half poached chicken). The chicken has a good chicken flavor, and the sauce and dipping sauce at the bottom are also very flavorful. The rice is also very fragrant.

The waiters were inefficient and provided poor service. It was difficult to get seated and order. There was no air conditioning. The food was okay.
