Hainantown restaurant at Yeng Keng serves pork-free Nyonya food, and an extensive range of home-styled staples since 2005! The restaurant is ideal for group gatherings and families as it is pork-free, and my colleagues get to sample the quintessential Nyonya food.

The Hainanese chicken pie turned out to be the best I'd tasted in town. It's very tasty on its own, but came with very piquant home-brewed Worcestershire sauce

A restaurant that serves really authentic Hai Nam cuisine. The place I can enjoy home cooked dishes at the comfort of good service and nice environment. The Asam Prawns are really good and a must try. Together with the Asam Pedas fish.

Another reasonably priced restaurant in town but falls short on beverage options and taste. The portions are quite large but lacking in real flavour and taste. The duck was particularly disappointing.

Restaurant attached to the Yeng Keng hotel, a Nyonya themed place. I like this for its more gentle and comfortable Nyonya cuisine in a nice setting.

Very nice Nyonya food in Penang. We made a reservation prior arrival hence didn’t need to wait but seem like this place have limited seating capacity. Food wise is excellent, totally love it.

Had a wonderful meal at Yeng Keng Café Bar today. The Kapitan chicken was so flavorful, rich, and aromatic, definitely a must try. Loved their Hainanese spring rolls too, crispy and packed with delicious filling.

Really enjoyed the Nyonya food here 😊 Among all the dishes we ordered, the nasi ulam stood out the most — all the different spices blended together so nicely, and it was very fragrant.

My favorite food is Otak Otak, which i feel has my childhood taste, chicken pie, and Choon Piah. Honestly I had the chicken pie 🥧 and I think it is the best as far as I know in Penang.

This restaurant is located in Yeng Keng Hotel. The nasi ulam was nice and full of spices. The curry fish was also delicious, and the spring rolls were good. Strongly recommended!

Delicious Nyonya/Hainan food at reasonable prices. Not overly salty or sweet, but still packs a punch of flavour. Especially recommend the gulai tumis fish, nasi ulam and Ju hu char.
