Popular local Penang Koay Teow Th'ng brand- Loh Kei 罗记 has recently expanded its footprint to a new coffee shop, bringing more food options to the Tanjung Bungah neighborhood. Housed in Leisure Cove Hotels and Apartments, Loh Kei occupies a big space on the ground floor.

This is my second visit. No Q when I showed up around 9:30 am on a Friday morning, must be my lucky day! Shared a table with a lovely local Penang aunty, which we enjoyed a bowl of soupy-noodly goodness and kopi over friendly chitchats.

Very nice duck meat soup, very suitable for breakfast, serving size is moderate. Definitely is a hidden 💎. It's on the left side of the building once you entered into the front open air car park.

We went to this place for breakfast, eating duck rice noodles. They only close at 11:30 am, and we heard there was a queue, so we got up extra early to go. Make sure you check the location carefully, it's different from the one on Grab!

Koay Teow Thng place located in the grounds of Penang State Chinese Association. My favourite Koay Teow Thng place. Very busy and need to que for a table most of the time unless I go very early before 7am.

Haven't eaten here in almost 10yrs. The koay teow thng is still tasty. Came here around 11.30am and 15mins after we sat down... they were closed for business, I think they have sold out!

On a normal day, there aren't many people at 8 am... but as we finish eating, crowds gradually arrive and it gets crowded. Kway teow: So thin it's slippery. Soup: So fresh I wanted to take some home.

The second time i came to this place. Love the broth, not too thick. The taste was just right, not too salty. Duck meat was nice, not fat, not smelly. But, i expected the duck tight should be more tender.
