A wonderful bowl of Penang Hokkien meen for breakfast on Saturday morning. Stall is run by a small muslim family, along Argyll Rd depan hotel The Journey. Inside a quaint corner kopitiam.

I was passing by my accommodation and saw a lot of local customers, so I stopped in. Hokkien mee: It tastes like crab soup made by my mom with lots of onions. It's sweet and delicious.

Taste superb, just like any Hokkien Mee, and it's halal! Recommended and a must try! The rare old style coffee coupled with this delicious bowl of prawn noodles is such a nostalgic experience it.

The hokkien mee or prawn noodle gives me the high school canteen vibes. Has this nostalgic taste back in the old days, light but rich in flavours. Portion is small but for that price eat 2 bowls.

Uncle makes the best homemade Kaya!! And the hokkien mee here is one of the nicest i’ve ever tried. The broth is very light yet packed with flavours. Defo has to get here around 8 or it will be sold out.

The two fresh shrimp were plump and firm, with a delicious flavor. The broth was rich in shrimp roe. The noodles were a mix of yellow and thin vermicelli. The overall portion wasn't large; a small bowl wouldn't be enough for one person.

Insane aroma. Very rich prawn broth. Everything cooked just nice. Only RM5. Staff was friendly, but I didn't know how it works so I just stood outside, would be very nice if the staff reached out to me as I noticed they weren't too busy.
