    A light drizzle in the morning, quiet and peaceful with fewer crowds around, while the comforting aroma of street food slowly rises into the air. I ordered a small bowl of hot wonton noodles, slowly awakening my sleepy stomach.

    There's so many stalls to choose from but my favourite is the duck mee noodle soup. Hubby had the potatoes porridge, the stall also have a lot of dishes to choose from.

    With all the hype, this place is disappointing. Food and service is low standard. Table seating always attract a minimum drink order. Over time, this place will go into oblivion like the rest of Penang, that has grown old and unkempt.

    A market in Georgetown with a local vibe. Prices are also cheaper than in the city center. Many shops close around 2 PM. I recommend arriving before then.
