I was so surprise by the price of the food at Cheah Yew, Fettes Park. Other places will be at least RM8 or RM10. But it cost me only RM4 here.

This is a great spot for university students to enjoy rice-based breakfast and lunch as an alternative to the school canteen. To secure a table, it’s best to avoid peak hours.

Delicious and cheap. A small bowl of noodles is 6.5 yuan. There are many customers inside. Business is very hot. The boss is very enthusiastic to introduce you to the dishes. The disadvantage is that it is not very convenient to walk.

This Chinese fast food restaurant has a wide variety of dishes. You can choose and serve your own food. They have vegetables, chicken, fish, and eggs, which are all nutritious, delicious, and very cheap.

The pricing of food is reasonable and cheap when the husband at the counter BUT NOT when the wife. She will charge pricing based on the person or "suka hati" . Never go to this shop when the wife is at the counter.

mee goreng is about as good as you'll find in area. more than holds its own against mamak chain uphill, and food courts down. only quibble is that sotong is bit chewy.

Lunch hour is crowded and previously is recognized as cheapest economy rice in penang. But recently price is not cheap anymore. If you are looking for alternatively, can visit the one nearby.

Price is ok,not that cheap like others said.Meat dishes seem all chicken,no pork.No free soup and tea provided,not like the same kind of restaurants in Kuala Lumpur.And also the price is not cheaper than KL.
