東館茶室位於檳城喬治市的 Jalan Irrawaddi，一整排建築都具有濃厚的英式殖民加南洋風格。直接輸入導航可抵達茶室，但是附近的停車位有限。東館茶室的門口也吊掛了告示牌，善意提醒顧客不要把車子停放在鄰居的入口處，以防他人不便。

Found in a retro setting, Dong Guan Kopitiam 東館茶室 appealed to the public, portraying a modern vintage Cha Chan Teng (Hong Kong-styled Coffee Shop) but serving classic, old school Malaysian dishes.

Dong Guan Kopitiam is a newly open Kopitiam which is located at Jalan Irrawaddi, Georgetown, Penang. At first glance it looks like a Hong Kong Kopitiam serving Hong Kong Cuisine to me, but i was wrong.

The Nasi Lemak was average-okay but the Tom Yum Dry Noodle was somewhat unique and could not be found elsewhere. It was something like Thai instant noodles tossed with Tom Yum-infused vegetables.
