The fried oyster at the Lebuhraya Jelutong Hawker Center, along Lebuhraya Jelutong, near the Jelutong Post Office, is one of my favourites. The stall used to be by the roadside, but disappeared for a while.

This is a great place with a variety of food choices in a open air under covered area with tables and chairs to sit down and eat your food. When I was there, the place was quite crowded.

We didn't even dare to try the food. Everything around it was dirty and full of trash. We usually enjoy eating street food, including at local stalls, but here there was trash everywhere on the ground and an incredible number of flies on…

The fried Javanese noodles and fried rice stall used to be incredibly delicious. Now it's so bad I don't even want to take a picture. Just looking at it makes me lose my appetite.

The Hokkien Mee is very good and there are also a variety of dishes sold at the Economy rice stall. The seafood is very fresh as the owner owns a fishing boat to catch a variety of fishes.

A bowl of ais kacang with a scoop of ice-cream is ideal for a scorching hot day. A lot of delicious hawker food can be found here.

Google says it's open until late evening, we booked a taxi and arrived at 8:20 to find it completely closed. Very disappointing. Someone needs to update the details. Won't bother coming back.

Several food stalls there are quite good. I especially like the Malay food. It just gets a bit hot in the afternoon.

The mee Jawa were disappointing, and not tasty. The environment wasn't great either. A word of caution: avoid sitting near the sink, as you'll get splashed by water.
