Khoon Klang Bak Kut Teh (GPS: 5.40067, 100.31464) is a coffee shop on Perak Road in Jelutong, Penang . The shop sells Klang-style bak kut teh . You have the option of choosing the normal "wet" style or the "dry" style.

I'd give it six stars, definitely not five!! The teahouse looks simple, the signboard unremarkable—just an ordinary bak kut teh shop, right? If I hadn't taken the wrong bus, I wouldn't have ended up in this place so far from the city…

This is a well-known restaurant in Penang, offering a wide variety of dishes. The highlight is the bak kut teh (pork rib soup), which is especially delicious when paired with fried dough sticks. It goes perfectly with hot steamed rice.

A delicious and authentic Bak Kut Teh. The herbal broth is rich yet balanced, not too strong, and suitable for many tastes. The pork ribs are tender, the claypot is served hot, and the portion is satisfying.

Service was very poor and we felt discriminate. There were about three tables where two customers were seated at round tables but when it came to us just two peoples, they kept insisting that we sit at a small table.

<Penang Bak Kut Teh Restaurant - Search and Visit> Singapore S.F. or Kuala Lumpur A.H. **Absolutely different** from Bak Kut Teh / Broth Bak Kut Teh Slight herbal scent. It might be surprisingly addictive.

Perhaps it's because I'm used to Singaporean-style pepper bak kut teh, but today I specifically came to Klang Bak Kut Teh and ordered both dry and soup bak kut teh, only to find that neither was to my liking.

This was my first time in Penang, and a local recommended this place. The Bak Kut Teh (stir-fried and soup versions) here was quite different from what I expected.

We enjoyed Khoon Kang Bak Kut Teh. The broth was rich and flavourful. I liked that you can order by portion per person, which was perfect since our stomachs were already full from trying so much food in Penang.

This is my second time in Penang, and I've come back to eat here again. The owner is very welcoming and we can communicate in Cantonese. Must-try dishes include the dry Bak Kut Teh and taro rice. The dry Bak Kut Teh with okra is delicious.

Bak kut teh is not the usual herbal broth; it contains about two pork ribs, tofu puffs, enoki mushrooms, vegetables, and pork strips. It has a Malay flavor, comes with a plate of fried dough sticks, a plate of vegetables, and two cups of…

This was my first time trying dry Bak Kut Teh, and the soup version was also good. Both had a strong medicinal flavor, and overall it was quite delicious. I recommend it.
