For the dried version of Bak Kut Teh, I like the burnt smell of the sauce. Not really spicy and the meat is tender, rating 7/10. But for the soup wise was kinda disappointing as it is not as good as Good Master (review HERE ) and the aroma…

Late night supper at Lao Xiang Claypot Bak Kut Teh (Kampung Baru) Dropped by for a late dinner and tried both dry & soup bak kut teh 😋 Ordered a mix: tu ka cat, tu tor, tu deng, gor hua bak, bak wan & kim ciam ko.

Colleague brought me here once, I think it's good so I came again alone. It a weekend morning, crowded but not really have to wait. Ordered a soup bak kut teh, you tiao and a rice. They sell dry bak kut teh too!

The soup version is decent, though we were expecting a slightly richer broth. The dry version is enjoyable, with a pleasant squid aroma and flavour.

Upon entering the shop during peak CNY season, we were immediately greeted by very friendly owner. The cooks and staff members were efficient and fast. The fried you tiao were crispy and fresh.
