I ordered their famous roti babi, chicken mushroom roti, Phoenix roll, and the mushroom soup. 1. The Famous Roti Babi is a different batter than the other two, where it has a very eggy fragrance and taste to the crust.

People talk about it as a culinary landmark. On the Perak Road side, in the non-halal Chinese section, Aunty Mary and her husband work a third-generation Hainanese line built around roti babi.

Mary's roti babi is amazingly delicious. There is a delightful contrast in texture when you bite into that crunchy deep fried bread and juicy, tender minced pork. As you chew it in your mouth, you get that nice savoury, umami meat flavour.
