71-yar-old Mr Foo Thian Hoe aka Ah Hoe served up probably the best Hainanese-style beef noodles in Butterworth.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came here for Sunday breakfast (2 pax) and honestly didn’t expect it to be this good! We ordered the tuna onion toast sandwich, beef noodle, and a kopi C peng. The sandwich was the highlight only RM5 but seriously soooo good!

went on a Friday afternoon - can find parking - got a seat right away - all races are welcome - not too hot Ordered beef kuey teow hor fun. noodles. RM10. Beef wasn't fall off the bone tender. It wasn't thinly slices. Broth was ok.

HALAL FOOD. Hallo Penang!!!! 2024-05-23. Meng Chai Kopitiam, I came here for breakfast. The owner is so so nice and friendly. We ask for custom orders, happily they server. The soup added without being asked by us.

Came here to try their famous sup lembu. Located in a hidden row of shop houses, walks away from main road. Nice and quiet atmosphere, with several restaurant and kopitiam neighbours. Their sup contains lot of tender beef slices.

A regular patron for a bowl of beef soup with noodles or rice. The broth is hearty with good beefy umami but slightly lighter than perfect. However the taste of the broth is on point, especially paired with the chilli paste.

Possibly one of the best beef soup noodle i have ever had in a while. The clear soup didn't have the usual meaty scent, but is packed with flavour as they boil the bones n parts for days before.

I love my good old roti bakar and teh c mornings. This place reminded me of a classic kopitiam in the 90s where there’s malay chinese and indian people eating in the same shop.

I actually came here for the cheesy toast. Hear a lot about it from local friends. It was definitely unique. They oven toasted the cheese on a loaf of bread and sprinkled a bit of sugar on top of the toast. It taste really good.

This are one of the tiga sekawan kopitiam in Bagan, Sin Bee Chiew, Luan Fung and this Meng Chai. Popular eateries for breakfast and lunch. The beef soup koayteow is nice. Beef is tender. The soup is the clear type, tasty.

Superb sweet and clear soup with the beef noodle 🍜 and the meat was soft and chewy, which just nice for me. Very unique environment needed to highlight, big sun outside but it's very cool in the shop, the wisdom of the ancients👍

This beef noodle is clear soup type, the soup is delicious and tasty, the meat is fresh and juicy. Even thought medium bowl is RM2 more than small but the meat is almost 50% more.

The beef Noodles or rice is delicious. The soup delicious and he cheese tosta also tasty. For me this restaurant quite unique. Has been long time didnt see restaurant that open by chinese still have malay come and order the food.
