Stepping into this hidden gem in Penang's alleyways is like stepping back in time to the Baba Nyonya era. Carved wooden doors and windows, vintage tiles, colorful lights, and handcrafted art create a truly immersive Nyonya ambiance!

Nyonya seems to be popular in Penang and there are many to choose from. We tried Niang as someone recommended that the perut ikan is very good. The perut ikan is indeed delightful. Hong bak was so so and so was the otak otak.

For a small island like this, the food must be pretty good. As a young Chinese person, my initial motivation for coming to Penang was the city's reputation as a culinary capital.

Food was overall pretty solid, no major complaints, one of the newer Nyonya restaurants in George Town. 15% off on Mon-Wed was a pleasant surprise. Made reservations before coming.
