Half way up to Balik Pulau, Hin Hin Seafood Restaurant 兴兴海鲜煮炒 is a rather concealed space found at Jalan Tun Sardon/ Bukit Paya Terubong, a winding road/ junction of Bukit Jambul and Paya Terubong (connecting point to Balik Pulau).

The food is delicious. It's relatively cool because it's located on a mountaintop. However, there are a lot of flies. They use fans to deal with the problem, but the flies still swarm around the food, making it difficult to enjoy the meal…

The location of this restaurant is far from the city center, it is located on a hill. Therefore, this restaurant has a pretty good view. And to reach this location you have to use a car.

Impressive food and reasonable prices. My baseline for tze char comes from KL restaurants, which are pretty high. This place surpasses many of them. Also ordered (not pictured) the steamed patin fish, avg per pax was about rm30+.

The environment was okay, but the pig's trotter we ordered was too big for three adults and two children. Even five adults might not have been able to finish it.

Overall, the food was good! I especially liked their squid, it was very fresh and delicious! The shrimp was also very fragrant, and the herbal chicken wasn't too salty, it was delicious!

A place where you will missed if you are not looking. Hidden high up a slope overlooking the Penang bridge from afar. Not glamour nor beautifully decorated just a humble place serving tasty food by a couple.
