(Hainan Chicken Rice with Chicken Thighs, Bean Sprouts, Cucumber, and Chili Sauce Added) I suddenly had a craving for Hainan Chicken Rice, so I went to a nearby place that was open, and I had a pretty delicious meal.

Although I only had the chicken leg rice once (7.5 MYR), I was very satisfied with the taste and regretted not ordering more. I was worried that ordering too much would be awkward, so I'll save it for tomorrow.

They used to sell their phenomenal chicken rice at Kheng Pin cafe, walks away from this spot. Now they standalone run their business here. Still teamed up the father and daughter, not too friendly service but they serve us fast.

The poached chicken rice is delicious, but it gets expensive if you add extra toppings. The price is a bit high. The chicken soup is incredibly flavorful and piping hot. The chili sauce with the chicken rice is also good.

The chicken was tender, but the chili and chicken broth were bland and watery. The rice was just average. Overall, I'd give it a 4 out of 10. Someone else said this is the best chicken rice in Penang, but I disagree. 🙅🏻‍♀️

This chicken rice place was the cheapest meal I've ever had (they're closed on Thursdays). Although there's no air conditioning, the atmosphere is very homey and welcoming.
