Everything seems average to me here. The dishes were hit and miss to me. The honey glazed chicken was good. So was the assam sotong. However, the steamed tilapia fish was below average.

We dropped by this place for dinner. It was quite full but they found us a table. We ordered several dishes, all of which tasted good especially the tofu and yam ring.

My friends and I found this Sam Poh Restaurant in Tambun, Ipoh, which is a stone's throw from our Palazzo Condo. We ate here on Labour Day, in the air conditioned section of the restaurant, which was full of patrons.

Food is good. You've got to try the pork knuckle. Loved that. Vege dishes, steamed fish, fried rice - everything deserves a thumbs up. The only problem is flies. Lots of them buzzing around.

Food is great and restaurant has 2 sections . One with air con and one is outdoor without air con. We love the Curry slice fish . Really lemak and not spicy . And this dish is super appetizing. Price is reasonable too .

Lady was very nice and helpful. Delicious home cooked Cantonese food, we ordered all plates in small and portions were quite big. Honey chicken was amazing, sweet and sour good but could have skipped for other dish.

Cooking tastes good but the place is infested with flies. Spent more time swatting flies than enjoying the food. Feedback to the cashier but she brushed it aside saying it was normal. Hope the hygiene is not as bad in the kitchen
