It was really a comfort meal. Furthermore I am a fan of 'lou shu fun' too.

Came at 8pm at night before shop closed. Still have good numbers of patrons. No queue, easy to order, clay pot noodles and chicken wings! Foods came pretty fast and the uncle removed the hot claypot from the charcoal fire and carried it on…

An old establishment which served only two foods : claypot loh see fun and also chicken wings. Rather unique claypot loh see fun. The server will crack 2 egg into the claypot. Make sure to stir it evenly. Taste quite good.

Traditional 老鼠粉(lou shi fun which translates to mousey noodles) in a fancy claypot with two raw eggs pumped in right in front of you. Old school kopitiam with round wooden tables, rickety stools and buzzing fans.

I have been to ipoh countless times and no articles or foodies have recommended this place. According to the uncle, they cater more towards local neighbours instead of tourists.

No fancy decor, just rustic charm and the comforting aroma of charcoal-fired claypots bubbling away. Their signature claypot lou shu fun is pure childhood nostalgia for me. That same soul-soothing taste I remember from my younger days.

I have never tried white colour Claypot Lao Shu Fen before, all the while I have been eating black colour style. Surprisingly it is really good, the broth is robust and fragrant, stirring together with an egg for that extra creaminess and…

Came to [Chee Wah] which sold only 2 items, Claypot Loh Shu Fun and Chicken Wings. It reads and sounds like such an odd combo to specialise in, and I honestly thought, looking at the pictures that the Claypot noodles would be bland and…

Since I went alone, I gave up on the chicken and just ordered the clay pot. After a string of dishes that were too sweet and salty, the neutral, gentle flavor was a welcome relief. I finished two servings in no time.

We visited the restaurant for the first time ever after we read high review about delicious food. When we were reached, the boss greeted us and brings us to a table. Then I started to ask / order our food.

I often go to the Japanese restaurant near my home. The owner is a Malaysian Chinese, a Hakka from Ipoh. Hearing that we were going on a trip to Malaysia, she strongly recommended we visit her hometown. So, we added Ipoh to our itinerary.

It's an unexpected visit to this dinner place. Was told by hotel staff this place was famous locally for claypot lou shu fen and fried which wing.. so decide to try. This is an old building hence it doesn't have any nice decor etc.

The clay pot rice noodles had a traditional flavor. It was somewhat like eating congee, and the taste was quite good. Unfortunately, the fried chicken required a minimum order of six pieces, so we didn't order it.
