When coming to Ipoh, it’s needless to say that chicken rice is a must-try; this is honestly something that I can every single day! I arrived here during peak lunch hours but since there were plenty of tables, I was attended right away.

OVERPRICED!!! The rice and portion size were decent. I ordered the Lemon Chicken Rice. The lemon sauce was nice, and the chicken portion was generous. Unfortunately, the chicken was quite tough and not as tender as I expected.

This Malay run Hainanies chicken rice shop is quite famous in Ipoh. The food was delicious and tasty and has a kopi shop atmosphere. There’s Ample seating although at lunch time it gets pretty packed.

My second time here. The best Chicken Rice in Ipoh town for me. The chicken rice is really tasty and flavorful. I also ordered the steamed bean sprouts and fried tauhu with soy sauce, both were excellent and complemented the meal perfectly.
