    An intimate history lesson through food. We got to learn about Jay’s family heritage and the way of nyonya Malay’s with a tour of his family home. There’s also a bonus cook off - teaching us to make his favourite fried rice salad!

    Unique dining experience with a chance to learn about the cultural and culinary history of peranakan food. Baba Jay leads thru the rich history of the dishes served. Very small bites but each with unique flavors.

    Overall it’s worth the experience. Reservations are to be made in advance. Owner Baba Jay and his son Nicholas are very warm hosts for our experience. Located in the city centre.
