walk in and get full sense of place. lot of options, especially on thai side. speaking of which, kuay teow (or chap) soup is really good. black broth is chock full of umami, and deep heat that wants to kick arse.

Been coming here all my life and the food and drinks here never dissapoints. Kit Siang Seafood is the one of the best ones. Beef is the way to go. Thai style pork leg rice is a reliable one too. I used to order this once a week, every week.

This food court serves many of the Penang famous street food. There is no air conditioning but we do not feel hot during our meal. The stall owners are friendly. Please note that few of them only collect cash, so prepare some cash.

I absolutely love their fried kway teow and sambal fried rice! 😋❤❤️ The portions are generous and delicious!!! I even asked the owner to enter a fried kway teow competition, but she refused.

I enjoyed the Thai Koay Chiap for many years. I should have posted this review earlier. I think it is the best. The place can be pretty warm. For the Koay Chiap, I'll bear with the heat to enjoy the food.
