this is one of the more famous roast chicken rice joint in town. Always packed with diners & those waiting for their takeaway. I haven't been here for past 3 years.

I've been eating here since I was a child. I mostly dine in, and occasionally get takeout. It's my favorite chicken rice restaurant in Ipoh. The roast chicken sauce is delicious with rice, and the stink beans are also good.

Recently went to this Chicken rice shop in Ipoh,by google recommended in this hype area. Went here on normal days,so less traffic and no que at all. Suprising the roasted chicken are very soft and tender.

If one had tried chicken rice in Singapore, this will not not wow you. The char siew is very fatty which accounts for the tenderness of the meat though.

Ipoh’s hidden gem: Restoran Nasi Ayam Pak Kong (Jalan Theatre). Silky kampung chicken, fragrant oily rice & crunchy taugeh = 9.2/10. But the star is the fatty, honey-glazed char siu—melting, smoky edges, perfect caramelisation = 9.7/10.

Well almost every time we come to ipoh we eat here at least once. One of the best chicken tauge rice in Ipoh. And one of my favorite place for me to eat. The sour veggies and The chicken rice is very good. Casiu also tender and juicy.

The rice smelled wonderful, truly wonderful, each grain distinct. The white chicken was smooth and tender, the roast chicken juicy. The bean sprouts didn't have any unpleasant "green" taste. The soup was served in a generous bowl.

The Chicken rice is good and not the super oily type. Do get a Queue number upon arriving for the queue. The Steam and Roast Chicken is nice but I personally prefer the Char Siew.
