I have to say this. This is the best char koay or someof you call it Fried Carrot Cake. The owner of this stall sell his char koay at Monday Pasar malam in Lebuh Maccullam street and at the third street(三条路） near 1st Avenue mall.

Intense flavour from this char koay kak; smoky near-burnt char goes well with the soft texture. Recommend wearing face mask while in queue; smoke from the pan may irritate lungs.

This was seriously quite delicious, with small tender fishballs n nice prawns, much tastier than the char kuay teow opposite.

Sooooooooo good. We had to go back immediately after and order some more with duck egg. Highly recommended to try especially if you’re a fan of char kway teow!
