I know many people blog about Thean Chun Coffee Shop many times but still worth mention again. The Kai See Hor Fun (Rice Noddle in sweet Chicken and Shrimp broth) is just heavenly.

They usually only give you just enough soup to cover the flat rice noodles (hor fun). If they have not diluted the soup yet, it is rich and of a dark orange/ brown hue. The prawn taste is very strong.

スタッフさんがとても親切(特に背の高い細身の中国人のお兄さん)。支払いと注文が分かりにくいですが、飲み物(+プリン)と屋台2箇所別々支払いとなります。飲み物無しで料理だけ食べていると誰かが飲み物どうだと勧めて来ます。

The flat rice noodle shredded chicken and prawn soup, more than makes up for lack of a/c. The decor is dated, but that just adds to its charm, in my opinion. Oh and their proprietary chicken biscuit was a nice touch after the meal.

honestly one of my favourite places in ipoh to get KSHF despite what ppl might say about this place being touristy… seasoning may be heavier compared to other places but it is not MSG-laden. chicken was well done too.

Good Ipoh cuisine here. But the Kai Si Hor Fun seems a bit expensive. Like KL price.
